Behind the Scenes of the COMEDIANS Photo Series

The inspiration for this photo series came from what was supposed to be a one-off portrait session with one of my oldest friends in NY, comedian Ardie Fuqua.

The series was made possible thanks to the help of professional makeup artists, set designers, costume designers, BTS photographers, video editors, location owners/managers, and many additional friends who all volunteered their time and talents towards the ultimate goal of raising funds for charities devoted to helping children who are suffering from ADHD, anxiety, and learning disorders. 

On October of 2017, Carolines Comedy Club and TBS hosted and sponsored the first gallery fundraising event as part of the NYCF lineup, which benefited the Mount Sinai Division of ADHD, Learning Disabilities and Related Disorders. On October of 2019 we had our second fundraising event at Carolines on Broadway benefiting the same cause.

The series is still a work in progress, with many more comedians coming up next.
